Mount Shasta Parks and Rec Hoops program a success

The Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District recently concluded a two-month basketball program this winter.

This was the first year that an all-girls division was created. A total of 33 girls joined. A photo of one of the squads is above.

Laura Bradley and Jake Leiffer helped recruit and oversee the girl's division.

Chico Rivera, Paul Engstrom. and Colin Lowery oversaw the boy's program. Four Mount Shasta High varsity girls and three varsity boys coached and refereed.
