There's relief for people who want a Thanksgiving feast, but not pots to scrub.

Chefs at Siskiyou and Shasta county restaurants are preparing special holiday dinner menus for guests on Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, Nov. 23.

Some offer both dine-in and carry-out dinners and have special children's menus and vegetarian options, as well as traditional turkey, ham, prime rib and other entrees.

Some restaurants don’t accept reservations, so show up early for seating before the restaurant fills up, restaurant staff said.
