Marci A. Padovan

Marcia (Marci) Padovan, 67, of Pollock Pines, CA, was unexpectedly lost due to medical complications on 05 April 2024.

She came into this world in McCloud, CA in 1956 to Mark and Margret Zanotto, and grew up in the town of Dunsmuir, CA. Marci graduated from Dunsmuir High School and was a multi-sport athlete and salutatorian. Marci eventually moved to Sacramento, CA before earning her degree at Heald's Business College. Following her graduation, she met her husband, Robert Padovan, and they were wed in 1978. Two years later they started a family. She held several jobs but spent most of her career working for the State of California for over 27 years, eventually retiring from the Department of Rehabilitation.

Marci's unexpected passing comes as a shock to her family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much life to live with her family and 5 grandchildren.

Marci was preceded in death by her parents Mark and Margret Zanotto, sister Mari (Dave) Zieour, and granddaughter Gwyndolynn Padovan. Marci is survived by her husband Robert and their children Tyler (Nichole) and Sheena (Gabriel), along with her most dear 5 grandchildren Brooklyn, Anastasia, Deegan, Merrwynn, and Clayton. Also, her sister Margo, brother Mark (Robin) Zanotto, brother-in-law David, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Marci's celebration of life is going to be held on May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Placerville, CA.
